A variety of new artists will be taking part in the upcoming 25th annual Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Art Studio Tour.
On Saturday, March 1, the entire list of artists will be announced for this years tour and that list will include 20 new artists.
Katie and Kerry Tucker, behind K & K Custom Creations, will be new to the tour this year. They work in wood and make furniture and jewellery.
The husband and wife team own a small business in Maple Ridge, which is a live edge creations, epoxy, woodworking, and supplies shop. The create their own one-of-a-kind, high-quality hardwood furniture, home decor pieces, charcuterie, cutting and cribbage boards, and more.
This year more than 100 visual artists ranging from emerging to internationally established will be taking part including furniture makers, jewellers, weavers, potters, two dimensional comic storytellers, sculptors, woodworkers, and painters.
Others who work in stained glass, textile, and metal will welcome guests into their studios and talk about their process.
This year the free, family friendly tour takes place from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, and Sunday, May 11.
