Planning ahead is important in life, especially before someone you love or even yourself falls ill or experiences a life-altering event.
That's why an Advance Care Planning presentation is being put on by the Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Katzie, Community Response Network.
Participants will learn five steps to advance care planning, and will be introduced to resources to help them better understand how to share and document their wishes for their future health and personal care.
Bryn Poschenrieder and Christine Del Santos, members of the Fraser Health Regional Advance Care Planning Team will be hosting the event and sharing their knowledge.
The session will be taking place from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the Maple Ridge Public Library, unit 130, 22470 Dewdney Trunk Road.
