The Pitt Meadows Museum and Archives will be getting kids ready for Canada Day, by equipping them with flags.

On Sunday, June 29 , from 2-4 p.m., there will be a youth program at the museum, where kids will decorate their own Maple Leafs, and also learn about the history of the Canadian flag, including the Canadian Red Ensign, which preceded the maple leaf.

The Pitt museum is located at 12294 Harris Road, in the General Store that was built in 1885 and was once the heart of the community.
