Pitt Meadows Day will see some major changes this year including a change of venue, parade route, and a drone light show.
This year the event will be held at Pitt Meadows Athletic Park, a venue that will offer more parking space and event space, the city announced on Monday, Jan. 8.
It will mean that the parade route will now begin at Harris Road at the civic centre by city hall and will end at the athletic park.
In addition to these changes, a new drone light show will be taking the place of the traditional fireworks show, which has been cancelled in recent years due to fireworks bans.
