Convocations set to take place for high school grads across Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows

The graduating class at Meadowridge School received their diplomas on Thursday, May 25

Dressed in blue gowns with matching caps, graduating students at Meadowridge School appeared both nervous and excited as they sat in front of family, friends, and faculty Thursday morning during their graduation ceremony.

There were 52 students who strode the stage in the school’s gym to a packed house, to receive their high school diplomas, including one student who performed a little dance, and another who saluted.

The ceremony included the handing out of various awards and a live musical performance by four of the graduates.

Maple Ridge Christian School will be holding their convocation ceremony for 21 graduates at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 26, at Maple Ridge Alliance Church in Maple Ridge.

An additional 1201 Grade 12 students in the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows School District are also hoping to graduate this year.

A final confirmation on the number of graduates won’t be made until June 6, advised Irena Pochop with SD42.
