The local chapter of the Eagles in Maple Ridge just celebrated their 75th anniversary with a large donation to PLEA Community Services.
Aerie 2831 donated more than $3,500 to the Children of the Street program to support the delivery of workshops for local young people to learn how to keep safe from sexual exploitation.
Children of the Street works to prevent the sexual exploitation and human trafficking of children and youth across the province through educational programs, public awareness initiatives, and family support.
