An Australian theatre company that specializes in science is coming to The ACT with their fast-paced, interactive show called 'The Alphabet of Awesome Science'.
Professors Lexi Con, known as the Word Nerd, and Noel Edge, known as the Science Freak, and collectively known as That Science Gang, will be transforming 26 carefully chosen words into a series of explosive, mind-bending science demonstrations.
The show will feature fireballs, floating objects, liquid nitrogen, water cannons, and a hilarious series of dad jokes – with the professors having only 52 minutes to make it from A to Z with their experiments.
Audience members will determine the order of the experiments, making the show unpredictable, with no two shows exactly the same.
'The Alphabet of Awesome Science' debuted at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2019 and won a Weekly Award for Best Children's Event and it has since toured the world.
The show takes place at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, at The ACT Arts Centre, 11944 Haney Place, downtown Maple Ridge.
Youth tickets start at $16 plus fees and can be bought at: https://theactmapleridge.org/alphabet or by calling 604-476-2787.
