Holiday favourites are back at The ACT in Maple Ridge.
At 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8 the Vancouver Bach Choirs, led by music director and conductor Leslie Dala, will be performing a Christmas carol sing-along of holiday classics, accompanied by the choir, pianists, and The Touch of Brass Quintet.
Christmas with the Bach Choir tickets start at $29.
No holiday season goes without a performance of The Nutcracker.
Set in the Stahlbaum family’s festive home, young Clara receives a special gift from her mysterious Uncle Drosselmeyer – a toy Nutcracker that springs
to life and takes her on a fantastical adventure.
Ballet Victoria’s artistic director Paul Destrooper will be leading his company of twelve professional dancers, complete with imaginative staging, beautiful costumes, and a timeless musical score, putting a fresh twist on the beloved holiday story.
There will be two performances. The first at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, and the second at 3 p.m. on Sunday Dec. 15.

Winter Harp will be back again at the ACT for a classic holiday concert that has been enjoyed for more than 30 years. The performance brings together music, song, and festive tales in a medieval setting.
There will be two shows. One at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, and the other at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 22.
