There's a tea party for seniors coming up in Maple Ridge.

The annual Seniors High Tea Party will again be held at the Maple Ridge Public Library on Wednesday, June 4, and it will feature the Silvertones Choir. The event is put on by the Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Katzie Seniors Network, and is billed as an afternoon of songs, socializing and treats. It will take place from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.

There will also be readings by members of the Greystone Writers Group.

For more information or to register, call 604-786-7404 or email seniorsnetworkmpk@gmail.com.

This event is part of celebrating B.C. Seniors Week which runs from June 1 to June 7 this year. This is a time to celebrate seniors and their many contributions – providing an opportunity to acknowledge the integral part seniors play in communities across the province.
