The Garibaldi Art Club is gearing up for their Annual Fall Show and Sale this weekend.
Hundreds of original artworks will be up for sale at this years show beginning on on Friday, Nov. 15, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. when the opening reception will be taking place.
The annual non-juried show will include pieces in a variety of mediums including acrylic, watercolour, oil, pastel, alcohol ink, and more.
"Lots of great artwork from local artists, just in time for the gift giving season," said club president Diane Speirs online.
There will also be artist demonstrations throughout the weekend and a raffle for a gift basket at 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
A wine bar, cash only, will be available for the opening reception.
Garibaldi Art Club was founded in 1959 for artists ranging from beginners to professional. The club aims to give members opportunities to learn and grow as artists, and to share their work with the community.
Club activities include monthly meetings, painting sessions, workshops, and art exhibitions.
Meetings and most activities take place at The ACT Arts Centre, on the 3rd floor. Exhibitions take place in a variety of locations.
The Garibaldi Art Club's Annual Fall Show and Sale continues through Saturday Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and again on Sunday, Nov. 17, the same hours at the Albion Community Centre, 24165 104 Ave., Maple Ridge.
