Local Scouts gathered together at the Ridge Meadows Home Show to showcase the group's 2025 Scouts Canada Three Rivers Rally Day.
There were more than 120 entries of 'Kub Kars' and 'Scout Trucks' from Scouting groups across the Lower Mainland including: Maple Ridge; Pitt Meadows; Langley; Mission; and Chilliwack.
The event is not just about the racing. Each Scout designs their racing vehicle, then they cut it out using carpentry tools, and assemble the vehicle themselves.
They also paint and decorate their vehicles.
Travis Simm with 1st Laityview Scouts won Favourite Design as voted by the crowd for his vehicle, the 'Taco Truck'.
David Meunier with the 1st Haney Scouts hopes to have next years races at the home show again.
"And have more youth from around our local communities attend," he shared.
