Legion to host dinner for Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows veterans

A special dinner is being hosted in Maple Ridge to honour local veterans.

The Maple Ridge Legion, Branch 88, will be hosting the special evening for veterans in the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows area.

Dinner is open to all veterans in the area – membership is not a requirement – who are allowed to bring one guest.

Current and past presidents of Legion 88 Branch, along with current and past presidents of the Ladies Auxiliary are also welcome.

There will be a delicious roast beef dinner to enjoy, dessert, with door prizes to be handed out and entertainment by Brian Zalo.

Tickets are $10 for veterans and $15 for their guest.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 20 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 88, 12101 224 St. in Maple Ridge.
