The Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association will be holding their annual Christmas Market this weekend.

There has been a lot of interest in the market from local artisans, vendors and shoppers.

The market will include activities for children, a free photo booth, letters to Santa Claus, a treasure hunt with many prizes, a variety of food options and vendors selling products that range from home decor, to chocolate and spices, local arts and crafts and clothes and accessories.

The market will be in conjunction with Christmas in the Park and the Santa Claus parade taking place in Memorial Peace Park.

The BIA Christmas Market takes place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Dec. 2 in the multi-purpose room at the Maple Ridge Leisure Centre, 11925 Haney Place.

Entry is free.
