The Maple Ridge Community Foundation's annual Citizen of the Year awards will be presented at a celebration event on Saturday, April 12, at Meadow Gardens Golf Club.
The Citizen of the Year Awards is an opportunity to come together and celebrate individuals who make a difference in the community.
Lifetime Achievement, Youth, and Teesha Sharma Memorial Awards for young adults (age 20-40) will be awarded to Maple Ridge residents who have been consistent volunteers locally, nationally, and internationally in the fields of arts, culture, athletics, social service groups, service clubs, or other groups that help to enrich the quality of life in Maple Ridge or boost's the city's reputation.
Tickets cost $150 and include dinner, live and silent auctions, entertainment, and the celebration of nominees and award winners.
The awards night will begin at 5 p.m., and tickets are available at mrcf.ca/coy
