Maple Ridge residents have a Mothers Day tradition of taking Mom to breakfast served by the Lions.

It won't be breakfast in bed, but there will be a breakfast in the company of other mothers from across the community this Mother's Day, served courtesy of the Maple Ridge Lions Club.

The Lions will against host their Mother's Day Breakfast, buffet style, on Sunday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Hammond Community Centre (20601 Westfield Ave.).

The service group promises all you can eat bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit and more.

The cost is $15, with seniors and children under 12 charged $12. Toddlers three and under are free.

The breakfast ticket includes entry into a door prize draw, and there will be raffle tickets sold for a variety of prizes.

Tickets will be available at the door. For more information, email mapleridgelions@shaw.ca.
