Swifties heading to Vancouver for the pop icon's Eras Tour on Saturday will have the option of grabbing a West Coast Express train.
A special midnight train will be running from Mission to Waterfront Station and back again on Saturday, Dec. 7.
The train will be departing Mission City Station at 4 p.m., arriving at Port Haney Station at 4:19 p.m., Maple Meadows Station at 4:25 p.m., and then Pitt Meadows Station at 4:29 p.m.. It will also be making stops in Coquitlam and Port Moody before arriving at Waterfront Station at 5:15 p.m..
For the ride home the train will be leaving Waterfront Station at 11:59 p.m., making stops again in Port Moody and Coquitlam before arriving in Pitt Meadows at 12:44 a.m., at Maple Meadows Station at 12:48 a.m., Port Haney Station at 12:54 a.m. and finally in Mission at 1:15 a.m..
No need to fret if you don't normally take transit and don't have a Compass Card. The Compass fare gates and readers accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Interac Debit cards, including contactless cards and mobile wallets like Apple Pay.
And, Translink is advising Swifties and anyone else going to take advantage of the extra West Coast Express train, or extra bus or Skytrain service for the Eras tour on Saturday to sign up for transit alerts just in case there are any changes to the transit service that night.
