Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows Community Services have changed their look.
A new logo has been incorporated for all communications representing the agency.
The new logo features a house graphic that was selected because of the feeling of the communities nestled against the mountains.
Blue and orange were chosen as colours to compliment the Community Services’ program logos.
The font was selected because it brings a feeling or warmth and clarity.
“Changing Lives Together” is the new tag line because it emphasizes what the organization does.
Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows Community Services is a non-profit multi-service agency that provides resources and programs for children, youth, families and seniors including counselling, early childhood, legal resources, mental health and Meals on Wheels.
It has been serving the communities of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows since 1971 and currently operates 31 programs and serves more than 12,000 people.
A new six-storey Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows Community Services building is in the works on 119th Avenue, just behind Valley Fair Mall in Maple Ridge.
The idea for a new logo came out of a 2013 Strategic Planning Session and since then staff, board members and the community have provided input for the new design.
