Pitt Meadows farmers market returns for the summer

Market will be offered every Tuesday at Spirit Square

The Pitt Meadows Farmers Market is back for another summer, starting on June 10 at Spirit Square, and continuing every Tuesday until Sept. 23.

The market will run from 3 to 7 p.m. from June through August, and an hour earlier from 2 to 6 p.m. in September. Spirit Square is at 11985 Harris Rd., beside city hall.

The weekly sale of fresh produce and other goods is operated by the Fraser North Farmers Market Society – the people who also run the Port Coquitlam and Maple Ridge markets.

The Pitt Meadows market offers fresh produce from the Lower Mainland as well as artisan made goods and small scale food producers. It's all designed to be an easy stop on the way home from work.

The first market will feature Nikki's Infinite Creations with upcycled and new clothing and more, Shine Bright By J&J wtih cosmetics and skincare products, Mythology Vineyard with wines and more, Creed Roasted Coffee Corp., local producers like Sunshine Meadow Farms with local fruits and vegetables, and many more.
