Maple Ridge’s Jennifer Anstett shared a picture taken while discovering the UBC Malcolm Knapp Research Forest in the eastern end of the community. This picture of the trees was taken along the Silver Back and Upper Tent loop. This is a 3.2-kilometre section primarly used for hiking, running, nature trips, and mountain biking.
