Silver Valley resident Geoff Woolley shared a picture taken at Alouette Lake, in the Golden Ears Provincial park. He was enamoured with the photo because it showcases “the incredible area we live in,” Woolley said. “It is taken at our happy place, the north end of Alouette lake. Near every Sunday during the summer months – and as late as possible into the fall – we can be found on the beach, kids swimming and adults relaxing and barbecuing. No cell service and absolutely world-class natural beauty. It doesn’t get much better.” (Special to The News)
