Tatum Bergen is a 21-year-old Maple Ridge photographer. As a fourth year international development university student, Bergen said the Pitt Meadows - Maple Ridge area has become her new place to travel and explore during the pandemic. "For young people such as myself, the pandemic has brought a lot of uncertainty in a time in our lives when we are making some of our lives’ biggest decisions. This area of Pitt Lake has become my refuge, providing me with space to think without four walls. It is here that I come to remember the beauty of life, to pray, and to even study from my car." This photo was taken at the Pitt Lake boat launch. (Special to The News)
