Cindy Dale has called Maple Ridge home since 1968, and she still views it as a place for her horse – 27-year-old Brandy, a registered half Arabian – and herself to take time to smell the flowers. “You will find her lying in the same place every spring, summer, and fall,” Dale said of Brandy. “No hour is lost that is spent with your horse.” (Special to The News)
