Thousands attend annual Pitt Meadows Day community celebration

Live music and entertainment continues

The annual community celebration known as Pitt Meadows Day is happening today, Saturday, June 7.

The 84th edition has already seen the pancake breakfast and parade, but there is still much to see and do.

The Kids Zone and a market for artisans and exhibitors is happening at Pitt Meadows Athletic Park (11431 Bonson Rd.) all afternoon, with the kids play area closing at 7 p.m. and the market at 8 p.m.

PMAP is the scene for all the activity, and there will be a barbecue dinner from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., serving salmon or chicken, and on stage there's live music and entertainment all day until 9:30 p.m., with a family friendly beverage garden and food trucks.

For stage schedules, and more information see pittmeadows.ca.
