VIDEO: Variety Plus performs Christmas show in Maple Ridge

Actors performed in front of a full house at the Maple Ridge Seniors Activity Centre Friday afternoon, Nov. 29

Variety Plus held their first of two shows of the Holiday season.

It was a full house at the Ridge Meadows Seniors Society's Maple Ridge Seniors Activity Centre for the show 'Driving Home for Christmas', which involved a cast of 22 and another 17 as part of the crew.

The show began with a short comical prologue with John Barnes and Scott Parry as George Bailey and Clarence Odbody, from the movie 'It's a Wonderful Life', before launching into a fun-filled afternoon of Christmas songs, poems, and comedy.

Some songs included 'Merry Christmas Everyone', 'Old Toy Trains', 'When A Child Is Born', and 'Silver Bells'.

The shows took place Friday, Nov. 29, and Saturday, Nov. 30.

Door prizes and refreshments were also available.
