Bard on the Bandstand coming to Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows

Bard on the Bandstand will offer The Taming of the Shrew in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows this month.

The Emerald Pig Theatrical Society is offering Bard on the Bandstand this month, with William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew in downtown parks in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.

Director Simon Challenger's play will be presented on July 11-13 at Memorial Peace Park in Maple Ridge, and then July 18-20  in Spirit Square in Pitt Meadows.

There will be pre-show entertainment starting at 6:30 p.m., and the performances will begin at 7 p.m.

Emerald Pig advises the audience members to bring a chair or blanket and some bug spray. Admission is free, but those attending are asked to bring a donation for the Friends in Need Food Bank.
