Concert for peace

The concert will be at The Well Public House in Maple Ridge.

The Halcyon Imagineers will be putting on a concert for peace at The Well Public House in Maple Ridge.

The concert, called Peace is the Way: A Call to Love Our Neighbours, is an answer to global terrorism and the wars in Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan and in the Ukraine.

Performers will include Charlie Spittel as Mr. Gnosis, Kat Wahama and Tony Reese, Joseph Warden as Dr. Brainstorm, Peter Tam, Taylor Wilcox, Holly Pea, Kyle Herman as StarrEagle, Caden Knudson, Larry McMillan, Marcel Gamache, Bob Cockroft and Garry Redmond as Professor.

The evening will be filled with celtic, folk, hip hop, pop, rock, ukelele, jazz, blues and bluegrass music.

The concert will take place at 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 20 at The Well Public House at Chances in Maple Ridge, 22710 Lougheed Highway.

Admission is free.
