This weekend’s Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows Country Fest will feature the works of more than 20 Garibaldi Art Club members.

Viewers will see a cornucopia of artworks ranging in sizes, shapes, and types. Both framed and matted paintings, prints and art cards will be available in the Exhibition Building at the Albion Fairgrounds on Saturday and Sunday.

Art club member Andrea Walker donated one of her original pieces for a free draw. She painted a female figure looking out against a background of vibrant and texturized colours.

Garibaldi Art Club members will be at the entrance of the Exhibition Building for artist demos and other information. The building will also hold works by the Fraser Valley Needle Art Guild, Ridge Meadows Quilter’s Guild, Gone Hooking Rug Hookers, and Once Upon a Sheep.

The exhibition is opens from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m on Sunday.
