Entries to the show came from as far away as Galiano Island and Whistler and awards were handed out on Friday for 50 featured small paintings.

Guest paintings will be on display at the gallery until Nov. 15 and people are invited to cast votes for the People’s Choice Painting award.

The Blue Heron Gallery is located at 105 – 10996 Barnston View Road in Osprey Village in Pitt Meadows and offers new selections every month featuring original paintings, pottery, glass items, jewelry and woodwork.
