The senior kids camp will end this week and will be followed next week by a Quick Start camp from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. for ages 10- to 12-years-old and a junior camp for second year players and above, ages 11- to 14-years-old. Ed Dumas has been teaching in the school district for 27 years and has been the conductor for the Maple Ridge Concert Band since 1990. He will be starting up a new adult beginners music program in the fall. Classes will start September 15 and will run every Thursday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.. The location has yet to be announced.
