Maple Ridge photographer Kelsey Klassen is spending the week snapping the latest trends to hit Vancouver’s runways.

A freelance photographer who works for Black Press, BC Local News and Vancouver is Awesome, Klassen is thrilled to be part of fashion week festivities. “Backstage is chaos and it’s so fun to have such beautiful subjects to shoot. They make it easy,” says Klassen, a self-taught photographer who learned everything she knows about photography while travelling for a year with her best friend, who studied film at Capilano College.

“It’s always great to see how the audience is dressed as well. You can get some really great style inspiration from people watching,” Klassen added.
