Shari Ulrich will be performing for the SongStage series at the ACT Arts Centre, Nov. 8.
SongStage is part of the free community Lobby Nights series that features performances by an eclectic mix of musicians combined with a discussion about the art and craft of the song writing process and the development of live performance skills.
Ulrich has won two Juno awards. She has been inducted into the B.C. Entertainment Hall of Fame and received a 2014 Canadian Folk Music Award for English Songwriter of the Year.
She has been in the music business for over 40 years and has performed with Pied Pumkin and The Hometown Band before moving on to a solo career.
Ulrich is a multi-instrumentalist and has produced 23 albums. She has collaborated with Bill Henderson And Roy Forbes and also with Barney Bentall and Tom Taylor.
