Meredith Wilson’s The Music Man  is a comedy that has entertained audiences since 1957. Set in the innocence of the early 20 century, it is the fun and comical story of a travelling salesman and conman Harold Hill (played by Kelsey Tierney and Ali Waton), who sets out to swindle the good people of River City, Iowa meanwhile for the first time in his life he “gets his foot caught in the door” when he falls for music teacher Marian Paroo (played by Molly Burgess and Ashlyn O’Shea).

Featuring big characters, upbeat songs and bright dance numbers, The Music Man teaches us tha music can change people’s lives for the better.

The Music Man plays the ACT Thursday May 9 to Saturday May 11 at 12:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets: 604-476-2787.
