The Maple Ridge Art Gallery Gift Shop offers great gift ideas for local shoppers in search of holiday cheer.

There’s no need to brave slippery streets and wintry winds all the way to downtown Vancouver for your annual Christmas shopping event.

The Maple Ridge Art Gallery Gift Shop, located inside the Arts Centre and Theatre, offers an amazing array of quality hand-crafted items made by both local and regional artists. What’s more, in checking out the shop you’ll  have an opportunity to support some of the most accomplished Maple Ridge artisans.

Artisan highlights

One of shop’s most popular lines is the hand-crafted von Hardenberg candles created by Klaus and Betty von Hardenberg.

Another outstanding artisan featured is Alexandra Lanzarotta. Her jewellry line, marketed under the name Alanza’s Creations, has attracted flocks of admirers since it was introduced at the gallery shop last summer.

The Maple Ridge Art Gallery’s juried show also now  has works for sale.
