The leisure centre in Maple Ridge has a teaching pool, a water slide, warm toddler’s pool, sauna and steam room and a full sized gym at the already recreation facilities in downtown Maple Ridge.
The leisure centre is located at 11925 Haney Place, and is open Mondays to Fridays, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.; and statutory holidays 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
If you’re more interested in taking a dip in an outdoor pool, there’s two facilities operated locally during the summer months.
The Hammond pool is at 11462 206 St. in Maple Ridge, while the Harris Road pool is situated behind the Pitt Meadows rec centre off Harris Road near Lougheed Highway.
The outdoor pools are open July 1 to Sept. 3 for public swims from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. and 5 to 7:30 p.m. seven days a week.
