With the spooky season now wrapping up, holiday markets will soon begin popping up all over the place.
The Albion Elementary Christmas Market is one of the first of these markets in Maple Ridge, bringing dozens of vendors together on Nov. 2.
In addition to more than 50 vendors, there will also be food trucks and a silent auction.
Admission to the market is by donation, explained event organizer Christina Holland.
"This is a fundraiser put on by the Albion Elementary PAC and all proceeds go to supporting the students at the school," said Holland.
The Christmas market takes place at Albion Elementary from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2.
Blue Mountain Elementary will also be hosting its own Christmas market on Nov. 2, with more than 40 local vendors involved.
In addition to a large shopping area, there will also be a couple of food trucks, a gift basket raffle, and a face-painting booth by donation.
All of the proceeds from the event will go to Blue Mountain Elementary PAC, with the goal of upgrading the school's playground to be more inclusive.
The Blue Mountain Christmas Market will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 2 at Blue Mountain Elementary School.
