Commuters hospitalized after Pitt Meadows crash

Incident occurred at Lougheed Highway and Meadowtown Centre Way

Two people were hospitalized after a vehicle collision on the morning of Nov. 5.

Sirens could be heard beside Meadowtown Shopping Centre on Tuesday morning as a multi-vehicle crash resulted in two people being sent to hospital. 

According to Ridge Meadows RCMP, the incident occurred just before 10 a.m., with two vehicles involved in a collision at the intersection of Lougheed Highway and Meadowtown Centre Way. 

BCEHS and Maple Ridge Fire and Rescue also responded to the scene.

"Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to two patients who were transported to hospital in stable condition," said BCEHS.

Westbound traffic was temporarily slowed while crews worked to clean up the accident, but has since resumed to normal.
