Female empowerment is the theme of the upcoming Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce event, as it prepares to bring back its Celebrating Women in Business seminar.
On Thursday, June 13, the chamber will be bringing together plenty of local businesspeople to hear the words of award-winning entrepreneur Darci Lang.
Lang, who also spoke at the inaugural Celebrating Women in Business event last year, will go over her strategies for achieving success and growth both as an individual and a business leader.
Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce CEO Kristi Maier said that they wanted to bring back this event due to the incredible amount of positive feedback they received after the first event.

Not only will attendees be able to share in the advice given by Lang, but they will also be able to eat a dinner catered by Humble Roots and Vanilla Bean Bake Shop.
Anyone who attends will also get a complimentary copy of Lang’s book about entrepreneurship.
Celebrating Women in Business will take place at the Albion Community Centre on Thursday, June 13, from 4 to 9 p.m.
Tickets are $135 for chamber members and $145 for non-members.
