Local seniors will have the opportunity to embrace their creativity on Feb. 7 as the Maple Ridge Public Library hosts a writing workshop alongside the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Katzie Seniors Network.

Maple Ridge author Jack Emberly will be leading the workshop, which is designed to be helpful for both novice and more experienced writers.

Throughout the hour-and-a-half event, seniors will receive tips on how they can best express themselves through writing, and will have plenty of time to connect with other seniors who share their love of the written word.
