Pitt Meadows Museum hosted its Heritage Tea event every year up until 2020, when the event was cancelled due to the pandemic.

A community tradition is finally returning to the Pitt Meadows Museum for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic.

This weekend, the museum will play host to locals who want to participate in the Pitt Meadows Heritage and Museum Society Reunion Tea event.

This event is a chance for people to meet and mingle with other individuals who share their love of Pitt Meadows and its history.

Although it hasn't been held since 2019, this annual tea has been a tradition in Pitt Meadows for nearly three decades, and is making its long-awaited return this year.

It is free to attend, with parking available at the Hoffmann and Sons Machine Shop across the street from the Pitt Meadows Museum.

Anyone wishing to participate in the first Pitt Meadows Heritage and Museum Society Reunion Tea in several years can RSVP by emailing pittmeadowsmuseum@telus.net.

The event takes place on Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Pitt Meadows Museum from 1 to 3 p.m.
