Ridge Meadows RCMP responded to a call at 11:10 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, of a break-and-enter report to a house in the 24600 block of Dewdney Trunk Road. "The male proceeded to severely damage the interior of the residence before attempting to burn the residence down," said Insp. Martin Guay.
Now police are asking the public for help in finding the suspect.
They are looking for a young, Caucasian man, possibly a youth, with a medium build and curly brown hair. During the incident he was wearing eyeglasses, white Nike shoes with a black swoosh, blue sweatpants, and a grey hoodie.
