It's not often that someone can get a little business done while also enjoying a hockey game, but that's what the Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce is offering with its upcoming Business After Hours event.
These monthly events bring business owners from both Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows together to network with one another while enjoying some food and drinks.
This time, attendees will also be able to watch as the Ridge Meadows Flames face off against the Mission City Outlaws.
Taking place at the Breakaway Bar and Grill, this restaurant, which sits on the top floor of the Planet Ice arena in Maple Ridge, provides easy access to see the action on the ice.
The Business After Hours event begins at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, with the networking portion of the event taking place until the puck drops in the Flames game at 7:30 p.m.
Attending the chamber networking social will also give people free access to the hockey match.
"Just let the ticket desk know you’re there for the chamber social, and you’re all set to soak in the pre-game excitement," wrote the Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce.
Tickets to the event are free for chamber members and $10 for non-members, with registration available at business.ridgemeadowschamber.com.
