Ridge Meadows Flames star forward Theo Kochan celebrated his 100th game in the Pacific Junior Hockey League on Saturday night by putting up six points.

The Flames blasted the North Vancouver Wolf Pack 9-2 on Oct. 15 for their 10th straight win to start the campaign.

Kochan had a hat trick and three assists in the contest, and through 100 games with the Flames he has 88 goals and 81 assists for 169 points, and is fourth all-time in Flames franchise scoring. The Flames got five of their goals with the man advantage, and the Pitt Meadows sniper was part of that deadly power play, tallying four of his points.

Nolan Bowsher also had a big game with a goal and three assists, Sam Allen had a tally and two assists, Zack Lagrange had three assists, and Pierce Whyte and Lukas Ravenstein each had a goal and a helper.

Ravenstein, the team captain, is the top-scoring defenceman in the PJHL so far this season, with 19 points in 10 games.

The reigning league champions are the last undefeated team in the league, and have scored 79 goals through 10 games, while allowing just 13 – both league bests by a considerable margin.

The Flames are at the Aldergrove Community Centre on Wednesday, Oct. 16 to take on the winless Kodiaks (0-13).

Their next home game will be on Friday, Oct. 18 at Cam Neely Arena at Planet Ice, when they host the Langley Trappers (9-7). Game time is 7:30 p.m.
