A memorial service has been organized for Amanda Todd, the Port Coquitlam teen who committed suicide in October after posting a video about bullying and harassment that received international attention.

The event is being called a Celebration of Life and Happy Birthday, and has been organized for Sunday, Nov. 18 at the Red Robinson Theatre in Coquitlam. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and the services will run from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

A service had been considered for Nov. 17 at a PoCo school but was rescheduled to Nov. 18 at the Red Robinson Theatre, which is at the Boulevard Casino, 2080 United Blvd., Coquitlam.
