Computer stolen during Pizza Hut break-in

A computer was stolen during a break and enter Saturday in Maple Ridge.

Ridge Meadows RCMP said the theft at the Pizza Hut happened between 6 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.

The thieves broke the glass on the front door to enter the restaurant.

Caught stealing

A 34-year-old man banned from a Save-On-Foods store was arrested Friday for theft.

Police were called to the store in Westgate mall just before 2 p.m. on Friday after a loss prevention officer caught the man stealing.

After officers identified the man, they discovered that he was bound by a probation order that barred him from entering any Save-On-Foods store.

He was remanded in custody for a court appearance on Wednesday.

Boat stolen

Ridge Meadows RCMP are looking for 10 foot aluminum boat stolen Friday from a house in Maple Ridge.

The boat was stored in a yard in the 12200 block of 233rd Street.

It was taken between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
