A 29-year-old man known to the RCMP died of a suspected drug overdose Thursday at a Maple Ridge apartment.
RCMP communications strategist and training coordinator Dan Herbranson said officers responded to a call at the Rio apartment complex, located at 12000 block of 228th Street, at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6.
Herbranson said drugs were believed to have played a role and foul play has been ruled out.
