Five break-ins in Maple Ridge over weekend

Five businesses in downtown Maple Ridge were broken into over the weekend.

“The main point of entry is by breaking glass, either the entry door or a window, with computers and money being targeted. One business even lost [its] safe and contents in one such incident,” said Cpl. Brenda Winpenny.

The RCMP’s street enforcement unit, the Integrated Forensic Identification Section, and the crime analyst are all involved in tracking suspects.

The break-ins have taken place between Lougheed Highway and Dewdney Trunk Road, between 223rd and 228th streets during the night hours.
