Teachers on strike in Maple Ridge received boxes of donuts which were tampered with – they believe they were soaked in urine.

The boxes were dropped off at the picket lines at two different schools on Wednesday morning. The teachers contacted police about the foul smelling donuts.

A Ridge Meadows RCMP spokesman said police have not identified a suspect, and did not confirm that the food had been tampered with.

In June, police investigated an incident where someone left garbage and dog feces outside a school in Colwood on Vancouver Island.
