If you are wearing a bike helmet and playing safe this summer, you could get a reward from Ridge Meadows RCMP.
Supt. Dave Walsh said officers are out patrolling in the community, looking for smart young people to give them a reward card. Last year, a man got one for pulling over to use his cell phone.
Summer Safety Smart Cards can be redeemed at any Maple Ridge McDonald’s location for a free ice cream cone until the end of September.
