A rally is taking place outside Conservative MP Randy Kamp's Lougheed Highway office this Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
It's called the Love Canada Rally – Defend Democracy, according to a release from local NDP'er Bob Goos.
Bring your passion for democracy, your family and friends, your signs, pots and pans, whistles, bells and voices to stand up for this Canada that you love, he said in the release.
The federal government's 498-page federal budget bill will put "a black mark on Canada," said the release.
Changes to the Fisheries Act are part of the bill, which affects 60 statutes, said the release.
