A man was struck in the face with a piece of wood Monday while working at a Maple Ridge saw mill.
The 47-year-old Burnaby resident sustained serious facial injuries and was rushed to hospital.
The wood also hit a 59-year-old man who was treated at the scene. The investigation into the accident is being led by Work Safe B.C.
All injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
